Conclusions IEC TC114 is active developing Standards for the Marine Energy industry Initial efforts focus on Technical Specifications Important step in commercialization New Standards are needed to support the efforts underway at the IECRE IECRE has begun the development of Conformity Assessment Schemes to support the Renewable Energy industry Collaboration between Wind, Solar PV and Marine Leverage resources to produce value for each Sector High-level harmonization with Sector specific solutions Standards and Conformity Assessment are critical to the Renewable Energy industry Reduce perceived risk Increase stakeholder confidence Encourage successful global market entry © 2014 - Verdant Power, Inc. 37
