Students will explore foundations of Algebra, solving equations, solving inequalities, an introduction to functions, linear functions, systems of equations and inequalities, exponents and exponential functions, polynomials and factoring, quadratic functions and equations, radical expressions and equations, and data analysis and probability. Throughout the course, Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) are taught and reinforced as the student learns how to apply the concepts in real-life situations.

Topics Covered First Semester Quantities and Modeling Understanding Functions Linear Functions, Equations, and Inequalities – Part A Linear Functions, Equations, and Inequalities – Part B Statistical Models Linear Systems

FSA EOC Algebra I Algebra I have an EOC at the end of the year. The EOC will drive everything that we do throughout the year. You will be exposed to EOC-type questions throughout the year and will learn the material necessary to excel on the test. The EOC will be representative of how well you have mastered the material.

FSA EOC Algebra I According to the state rules: YOU NEED TO PASS BOTH THE CLASS AND EOC ALGEBRA I TO EARN CREDIT. If you fail the class or the EOC or both, you will have to retake the course during the summer. EOC IS A BIG DEAL AND SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN LIGHTLY

Mr. Dossous’ Web Page HOW TO GET ACCESS the page. Go to: https://nmshpioneers.org/ Type my name on the search bar or scroll down to my name. What’s there? Links for EOC Study Help Course Info Puzzles Links to Math Web sites Pictures of the Classes FSA Review Packets
