U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) The Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Center The Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Center HSI Human Rights Violators War Crimes Unit ICE OPLA Human Rights Violator Law Division Interagency – FBI, CBP, DOS, DOD, and DOJ HRSP The HRVWCC investigates persons in the U.S. who have carried out genocide, torture, war crimes and serious human rights abuses.

State Criminal Laws: 33 states specifically criminalize FGM/C All states criminalize FGM/C activity (assault, maiming, conspiracy) State Child Protection Laws: - “Is Being or Has Been” neglected or abused
