Regional Health working group meeting 2013- Bangkok

Evolution of Road Map 2012- Sub group meeting- identified road map as one of agenda of 16 RDMC meeting. 16 RDMC-2012 in Singapore outlined road map with DM for the period of 2012 to 2016. Health colleagues from NS has made road map better by incorporating health components during the Yangon meeting-2013. In order to ensure the implementation of road map in cohesive manner-Regional forum for community Safety and Resilience(RFCSR) is constituted by three technical group named DMTWG( Disaster Management Technical Working Group- currently existing as Regional Disaster Management Committee), Health TWF( Health Technical Working Group- currently existing as Regional Health Working Group) and OD Technical working Group( Currently existing as OD Forum). Yangon meeting discussed about the ToR of RCSRF and respective technical working group and outlined same. A meeting was hosted by Thai Red Cross among health, DM and OD representatives as per decisions of Yangon meeting during July-2013 to develop the ToR for RFCSR and technical working groups. The zero draft ToR of RFCSR has already been shared. OD Colleagues are in process to incorporate OD components into road map. A small session organized to brief the chairperson of Leadership meeting about Road map and different ToRs. DRAFT-1(ToR) have been shared to chair of the leadership meeting through HoRD.

Today plan Identify the missing components and links and update the existing road map. Identify the strengths and weakness to translate existing road map in country context. PMI Case study- process to translate regional road map into country plan. Identify the opportunities and challenges to implement road- to promote working together.
