Using the dashboard for improvement If you identify an area for improvement– what improvement measures can be taken? Using Improvement Methodology to implement changes - PDSA cycles Revisiting the dashboard to show that changes have resulted in improvement.

Using the dashboard for improvement Example: Waiting Times Health Boards using Photonet data to improve the photophototherapy service in their areas: Increased opening hours Increased number of cabinets Additional staff New treatment centres Eventually showing reduction in waiting times.

Using the dashboard for improvement Example Increased Localised Erythema rates -Reviewing your own data Understanding the issue (eg. new members of staff grading erythema rates slightly differently) Education provided on grading erythema episodes.
