Teacher Biography I am originally from Havana, Cuba, and have a Bachelor’s Degree in law from the University of Havana. With more than five years of experience as a lawyer, I decided to pursue my real vocation and become a teacher. I am passionate about Children Rights, since I worked as a Coordinator with the Project of Children and Adolescent’s Rights, a project supported by UNICEF, promoting the "Convention on the Right of the Child" by United Nations. My work with the project for more than 5 years, won me a scholarship to pursue a masters in human rights. My passion for teaching and the love of children are my key motivations to ensure I develop my student's skills to a maximum. We have an exciting journey full of learning experiences ahead. Together we can make your Spanish class a success.

Curriculum Course Texts: “Santillana” Supplemental Materials: “Realidades” Book and videos, and other ressurces… Online learning: “Santillana” Santillana 1 (textbook), Santillana 1 Practice Workbook, and Santillana 1 Cuaderno para Hispanohablantes provide an excellent selection of literature works, poetry, newspaper articles, Web sites, and magazines. The course is also supplemented with Audio & Video Activities. Instructional materials include a variety of authentic audio and/or video recordings that develop student’s abilities. The teacher uses the internet to get international audio clips, view interviews, and new broadcasts. Movies in Spanish about the Spanish-speaking world are shown to the class.
