The CoPilot. The CoPilot. Like the GlideScope, this video laryngoscope has an angulated blade to facilitate clear image capture of the glottic opening. The CoPilot offers a specialized C-shaped bougie port channel running alongside the laryngoscope blade, which allows for placement of a bougie through the cords. As an endotracheal tube is passed over the bougie, the bougie is then dislodged from the channel, thereby facilitating tube placement.
