EvMBA Guatemala-El Salvador International Travel Module Itinerary Fly to Guatemala City / Visit Antigua Guatemala   Jan 4th Visit Impact Hub Center and meet Entrepreneurs in Antigua Guatemala Jan 5th Visit ANACAFE (National Coffee Association) and their coffee school Jan 6th Visit specialty coffee farm in Guatemala / Transition to El Salvador Jan 7th Specialty Coffee cupping with local farmers/ Free time at colonial town Ataco Jan 8th Volcano park visit and hike to the volcano summit Jan 9th Visit organic Indigo farm and workshop with artisans Jan 10th Fly to Atlanta from San Salvador Jan 12th Meeting with Social Entrepreneur Lula Mena / Free time Jan 11th January 4-12, 2020 Join our Latin America Travel Module Since 2009, 400+ students and alumni have participated in SE@G’s many Social Enterprise in Latin America travel modules.   These trips, led by Professor Peter Roberts, expose travelers to the challenges faced in developing countries by engaging participants in how businesses and markets are - and are not - achieving meaningful societal impacts. In our 2020 Guatemala – El Salvador International Travel Module, participants will spend 9 days and 8 nights exploring cities like Antigua and Ataco, and visiting coffee farms in Guatemala and El Salvador. We will also meet many of the social entrepreneurs who are re-shaping the economic landscape in Central America. Along the way, there will also be a volcano hike! Costs: $2,499 per traveler* plus airfare *Includes lodging, meals and ground transportation Register as part of Spring Course registration. We are looking for our next SE@G Trip Lead!
