The NeiC board is collaborating partners The NeIC Board consists of one representative from each of the national e-infrastructure providers: CSC (Finland), SNIC (Sweden), UNINETT Sigma2 (Norway), DeiC (Denmark) RH Net (Iceland), and now also an observer form ETAIS (Estonia)
Research related collaboration actors at the Nordic level NordForsk – many active research programmes for Nordic researchers - since 2005 NORDUnet – close to 40 years collaboration in Nordic and international research networking Nordic Five Tech – Strategic alliance between Technical Universities – since 2006 And recently: EOSC-Nordic and the EuroHPC consortium And many more sector specific collaborations ….
The next level The NeIC strategy from 2015 identified “Pooling and Sharing of e-infrastructure resources and competences” as the prime selection criteria for developing the NeiC activities.
The future next level? Candidates for future criteria for prioritising new NeiC activities may include: Benefit and outcome prediction and realisation. How to identify and use these terms in cross border research e-infrastructure collaboration? Identify and select to develop activities, which will help to keep the Nordics in the digital forefront
