Grand President’s Initiative EmPOWERing Women EmPOWERment means actions that elevate the status of women through Education, Raising Awareness, Identifying Resources and Providing Training in order to equip women with the tools to make positive life decisions. Since its inception, the Daughters of Penelope have consistently worked together to empower women. With that in mind, I am challenging each chapter to choose a project that EMPOWERS WOMEN. I encourage chapters and districts to support initiatives that provide women with the skills to improve their lives and expand their capacity to make positive decisions. I encourage you to support programs that provide opportunities to enhance and learn the skills needed to strengthen every woman’s ability to realize her fullest potential. This may be a project you are currently supporting or you might want to open your hearts to a new project. There are so many to choose from.

Tomorrow What will tomorrow bring? What will the future hold for the Daughters of Penelope? We cannot predict tomorrow. We must invent tomorrow. Our Daughters of Penelope must and will continue to develop, to explore new horizons, willingly and with anticipation look into the future. And in the future, as today and yesterday, our dedicated sisters will continue to serve their Sisterhood and their AHEPA Family for the well-being of their fellow man. Perhaps we can ask and hope for no more- nor less of our Order.
