Prior Weston Sports Day 2019 Thank you to all students, parents and staff for making this years Sports Day such a success. The atmosphere was fantastic and it was great to see every students being active and trying all the different activities. We saw some great sporting talent throughout the day!

Highlights from teachers KS2 Josh won the teacher race Lloyd was name the fastest boy in the school Isobel was the only girl to make it to year 6 finals Isobel and Elspeth have been great with the children when helping in the afternoon Chantelle scored 62 on the speed bounce Stevie-Leigh beat Taylor and Lena’s previous top scores with 54 on the speed jump/bounce Fatos did really well on all running activities Karolina scored a high score in speed bounce Hamza and Lloyd applied some excellent hand-eye coordination and ball skills on crazy catch Everyone who made it to the sprint finals Temple class we had William in the 100m completing in a good time, even though his shoe came off while running, still he kept on running!

Highlights from teachers KS1 Red Mo Farah team- scored 250 Gold Ruth year 1 was a super fast runner Everyone who made it to the sprints Blue team scored 452 in the continuous run!

Breakdown of results KS2 Commentary Yellows started off really well and were leading at 10.00, followed closely by reds At 10.30 Yellows still leading but others were catching up In the next 15 minutes, reds picked up some energy and score the most points. Greens then took a lead, scoring 35 more points than yellows in the next 15 minutes All scoring well until the last 3 rounds where Reds scored 185 Green scored 230 Blues 210 Yellow 225
