Starting off….. Correct addresses Date Dear Sir or Madam or Name Jim, Anne, Mr.Jones, Miss.Peters, etc..)

1st paragraph…. 5 Ws H. Why are you writing to them - ”I am writing to you to because…..” What happened & How – Positive/Negative When – Time date Who – Staff, friends, family Where – Exact location/s

1st paragraph…. Dear Mrs Hubert, I am writing to inform you of our visit to your restaurant on Tuesday 12 th at 7pm where we had the most amazing time.

Following paragraphs….. Use connectives (Firstly, Secondly, Finally) 2/3 Paragraphs – Word Count How – Facts and feelings

Firstly, we were seated on time and had a drinks order taken within 2 minutes. We were also given menus and given plenty of time to order our food. Secondly, Dave was there for everything we needed and handled a case of an incorrect drink professionally. Dave is the reason why my family and I would visit again, he really did make the night and was always smiling, despite being very busy.
