Grievance Redressal Mechanism (GRM) State has established Grievance Redressal Mechanism under MID DAY MEAL SCHEME. Following officers have been nominated as Nodal Officers at State/ District /Block/School level :- State level : Additional Director (Administration) District level : Deputy Director (Elementary Education) Block level : Block Elementary Education Officer School level : Centre Head Teacher The State / District Nodal Officers sends the complaints received in respect of District / Block / School to the concerned Nodal Officer on the next working day and concerned Nodal Officers take necessary action on the next working days. 86 % 102 % 88 % Elementary Education Himachal Pradesh

Provision of on- line registration of grievances :- Toll Free number :- Toll free number 1800-180-8007 has been established in the Directorate. The complaints/ grievances are being attended on every working day between 10.30 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. During 2018-19 (April 2018 to March 2019) 45 miscellaneous complaints / grievances were received all of which were resolved . These complaints / grievances were regarding delay in funds due to enhancement arrear of honorarium and engagement /disengagement of CCH . In addition to above complaints / grievances regarding MDM-ARMS Portal, MIS Portal and Supreme Court Evaluation Form were received which were also resolved telephonically and through e-mails by taking up the matter with NIC-HP. Provision of on- line registration of grievances :- There is also a State Government web application software, e_samadhan http://admis.hp.nic.in/esamadhan,. Public can register their grievances online on this Portal and the grievances received through e_samadhan are monitored regularly by the Department as well as by the Government. Status of Management Information System (MIS) . The Government of India has developed & launched web based Management Information System (MIS) for Mid Day Meal Programme. 1) Annual Data ----- i)The information is to be entered once in a year . ii)It contains basic data of school such as type of school , enrollment , infrastructure available in the school etc. (The Department has completed the Annual Data Entry) 2) Monthly Data ----- i) The data entry in respect of monthly detail is required to be entered every month. ii) It contains data such as meal served , expenditure funds & foodgrain (rice) received during the month , incurred on cooking cost & honorarium etc. during the month . © Dept. of Elementary Education, Himachal Pradesh The State is giving ₹ 1000/- per month to the CCH as an extra honorarium w.e.f. 01-04-2019 from State resources. 96 % schools are using LPG as a fuel. The SMCs have been assigned the over all responsibility for the implementation of the programme at school level, therefore teachers are least involved. Out of total 21,764 Cook-cum-helpers, 82% are females. Health screening / checkup of cook-cum-helper is made mandatory twice in a year. Funds are being transferred to the implementing agencies through e- transfer and the honorarium of all CCH are also transferred in their Bank Accounts electronically through RTGS/NEFT.
