Monday 9/30/2019 Warm-up Learning Target: SL5 I can Answer the following questions about your independent reading book in one well-developed paragraph: Which character in your book stands out the most? Why/how? Which character in your novel can you relate to the most? Why/how? Which themes (central ideas) are most prominent in your novel? Explain. How does the setting of your novel enhance the plot? What did you like about your novel? What did you dislike? Learning Target: SL5 I can understand presentation elements. REMEMBER: ALL WARM-UPS SHOULD BE AT LEAST ONE PARAGRAPH IN LENGTH

Monday 9/30/19 Agenda IR Book Talk Project: Choose between the STORYBOARD and AUTOPSY (refer to your hot pink instructions sheet). Follow the instructions using any of the materials provided for you, or materials of your own. Louder Than a Bomb: In preparation for our novel reading, we will begin watching the Louder Than a Bomb documentary. Complete the viewing guide as we watch.
