WHY EUROPEAN? Contribute to the personal development of young people and to improving their chances on the labor market. increasing the quality of youth work, strengthening young people's skills and more recognition for non-formal learning. Cooperate to increase innovation and exchange of good examples Strategic (cross-sectoral) partnerships, transnational youth initiatives and capacity building in the field of youth work. Contributes to economic growth, employment, equal opportunities and inclusion in Europe. The grant program aims to offer as many people as possible, the opportunity to fully participate in society and the labor market. This can be achieved by developing their skills and competences, both on a professional and personal level. The program also helps to improve the quality of education and training and youth and youth work through international cooperation. And contributes to sustainable social and economic development and to greater competitiveness of Europe.

WHY ERASMUS + It focuses on individuals: young people, students, teachers and professionals. They are given the opportunity, for example, to follow part of their studies within Europe and partly beyond. It’s a tool for young people to learn about themselves, about the environment, history, different cultures, their own country and other countries. To do an internship or volunteer. Erasmus + also offers opportunities to participate in a youth exchange, to follow a training course or to participate in job shadowing possibilities. It’s a great way to get experienced in European collaboration and to widen your network and field of work

KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE VS INNOVATION Knowledge exchange through strategic partnership To be innovative, know how to recognize and translate trends in your organisation.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME? A (new) methodology of youth work. New cooperation partners and an international network. An opportunity to work with young people and colleagues both locally and internationally at the same time. More in-depth contact and a closer bond with young people, partner organisations and Europe. A positive image and publicity opportunities for the organization, with the exchange as eye- catcher. A possibility to connect the activities with current themes in your own region Quality improvement and a new impulse for working with young people and partner organisations Access to best practices on a European level of education and innovation.

CREATE YOUR OWN NETWORK DO’S DONT’S Sign up for news letters Project shadowing Visit annual Nethr gatherings Online groups for partnership Screen your future partners Attend meeting from your NA Start in big consortium Just focus on mentoring or schools Start alone

Create a lasting change that is partly achieved thanks to a project - for an individual, for an organization and for society. Show you have a wide cooperation to create innovation and impact in your region. Make sure your national network is supportive and diverse. Make the impact visible by working on a European level. It’s important that European projects have as much effect as possible and succeed as well as possible. CREATE IMPACT

KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE VS INNOVATION Knowledge exchange through Mobility Learning experiences and European/ International competence development

YOUNG LEADERSHIP + FOR STUDENTS A challenge for young people to develop and to increase their self-confidence. A way to broaden the horizon: literally by looking across borders, but also figuratively by gaining new skills and developing other points of view. A way to increase tolerance and reduce prejudice. A tool for young people to learn about themselves, about the environment, history, different cultures, their own country and about other countries. A way to develop a different relationship with your regional eco system. To do a considerable amount of learning experiences. Contacts with young people from other European countries. New, fun and interesting possibilities for the future

MENTORING AND MORE Combine Mentoring, Entrepreneurship and Internationalisation in your school. Focus on a wider scale, include other topics, not just mentoring Intellectual Outputs and mentoring Mentoring is a great tool to support a strategic partnership/ innovation. - Integration - (social) entrepreneurship - Education

SELF REGENERATE

Social Entrepreneurship though Synergy and the Added value of Mentoring in Europe

SELF REGENERATE Self-Employment and English for Peripheral Regions

SELF-REGENERATE brings 2 issues together that have an important impact on VET students and young people's chances of succeeding in peripheral regions. Specifically, SELF-REGENERATE has two objectives:  1) To increase the capacity of VET students to create more successful enterprises. Thus enabling them to become economic drivers of their regions.  2) To increase the capacity of VET institutions to provide practical and real enterprise support.  Mentoring is complementary to this project, business mentoring for students, support for migrants in the region etc

Claim Your Future strives to create impact by putting students in the lead. Both VET and HEI students all over Europe explore their region to find out what their aspiration is. The impact of Claim Your Future is twofold;  1) Having students explore the region and improve the issues they want to tackle 2) Fortifying the (21st-century) skillset of the students by providing a challenging peer mentoring environment. The students choose what they find important and focus on that. They work on this by arranging meetings with policy- and decision makers, entrepreneurs, education professionals, etc. to communicate their beliefs and innovations.

The growth of the students is both on the personal level, and the professional level. Is immediately noticable, but often not by themselves. Impact continues to grow the longer they work on the project. Impact on the region is is defined in years. Policy changes take a while to go through, but the mindset of professionals, policy and decision makers, entrepreneurs, etc. has changed quite significantly in the last 1,5 years.
