HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Texas Legislature Makes (creates) the laws of the state The Texas State Legislature is BICAMERAL… meaning it is divided into two HOUSES: the SENATE and the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SENATE DUTIES: 1.
