(+4%) 90%: The level of difficulty associated with my child’s homework is appropriate. (+3%) 95%: I am satisfied with the parental/guardian participation opportunities the school has to offer. (+3%) 96%: The school makes effective use of technology for instructional purposes. (+2%) 95%: The school offers its students a safe environment to learn. (+2%)

Top Scoring Areas 98%: The school encourages students to be responsible. 96%: I know how to get information when I need it. 96%: My child’s school makes effective use of technology as a means of communicating. 96%: School policies and practices support child achievement. 95%: School staff is accessible. 95%: I feel welcome at my child’s school. 94%: School staff is responsive to parental/guardian concerns. 94%: I am satisfied with the overall quality of the school that my child attends. 94%: My child’s school does an excellent job of educating students. 93%: The school provides its students with a high quality education.

Next Steps We are dedicated to looking carefully at the information parents have shared with us through this survey. We are committed to finding effective ways to fold these results into our plans for 2012-2013 school improvement.
