Newsletter Message from the Club committee CLUB TOURNAMENT 30th August 2009 The Hunmanby Juniors club committee would like to thank everyone for there support during the 2008/09 season. It has been a great year and we hope to see you all again for during 2009/10 Your Club Needs YOU SIGNING ON NIGHT Hunmanby Juniors will be holding a players signing on night for all age groups on Friday 3rd July 6.30pm @ the club house This will give you time to speak to committee members regarding the club and enable players and parents to meet their managers. The club tournament will be held on the 30th August 2009. This is the biggest financial income provider for the club so it is able to survive financially the following season. If you could support the club and help on the date it would be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to give support on the day could you please help by providing a tombola prize for the day. All tombola prizes should be given to your respective age group manager. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 14th June 2009 @ 7.30pm Hunmanby Juniors Annual general meeting will be held on the 14th June 2009 at 7.30pm. This is held to Receive and report the clubs activities over the previous year Receive a report of the clubs finances over Elect members of the clubs senior committee Position for election:- Club Chairman Club Secretary Club Treasurer Club Welfare Officer Club Development Officer Consider any other business If you would like to play a vital role within the club please complete the application form attached. Football Manager joke A football manager walked into the changing room before a game, looked over to his star player and said, "I'm not supposed to let you play since you failed maths, but we need you in there. So what I have to do is ask you a maths question, and if you get it right, you can play." The player agreed, and the manager looked into his eyes intently and asks, "Okay, now concentrate... what is two plus two?" The player thought for a moment and then he answered, "Four?" "Four?!?" the manager exclaimed, excited that he got it right. At that, all the other players on the team began screaming, "Come on boss, give him another chance!" May 2009 issue 4
