GUY FAWKES AND HIS FRIENDS Some of Guy Fawkes were friends Thomas Percy , Jack Wright , Thomas Wintour , Robert Keyes , Thomas Bates , Robert Wintour , Christopher wright , John Grant , Ambrose Rookwood , Everard Digby , Francis Tresham .

Guy Fawkes was born in 1570 in Stonegate in York Guy Fawkes was born in 1570 in Stonegate in York . His dad died when he was only 8 years old . By the time Guy was a teenager he had become a Catholic and believed in God and Jesus . Guy became a soldier when he grew up. He was fighting for Catholic countries. He attacked mortal enemies of Britain to keep his country safe from other armies . King James the 1 , was King of Britain in 1605 not many people liked him . Guy fawke tried to blow the house of Parliament down with the King inside . Guy Fawke and his friends tried to put Gunpowder plot under King James chair.
