PURE RELIGION James 1:26-27

A faith that endures trials and resists temptations (James 1:2-4, 14-16) A faith that proves himself to be an effectual doer of the saving word of God (1:21-25) A faith that treats all men with love and mercy (2:8, 13) A faith that justifies the believer by works (2:18, 24) A rich faith in the Lord Jesus Christ grows to bear fruits of spiritual maturity.

The pure religion of God is very much alive and active everyday. A person’s religion can be a worthless religion (James 1:26).
