Paragraphs At least 4 sentences long body paragraph topics should go along with your thesis – only one topic per paragraph cite the docs as you reference them make connections between the doc and your thesis

General Writing Skills avoid colloquial language proofread transitions between paragraphs avoid using 1st person (I, we, our, us) or 2nd person (you, your)  the only exception is your conclusion if you are going to offer your opinion as to which reason is the most important to your argument Thesis – must take a position on the question; must be able to defend your position
