Creekside Commons (Courtenay, BC) is an inclusive and sharing community of 36 families who want to live more lightly on the planet. The site consists of 9.8 acres of land that is gently sloping and bright, appropriate for gardens, orchards and a large pond.

We balance our private lives with our commitment to our intentional community. We gather together frequently, for twice-a-week community potluck meals, for volunteer work parties, and for small and large group meetings to reach consensus on the community’s needs. This Heritage barn is one of the only original buildings we'll be keeping. It will become the centre of our Commercial/Mixed Use area in which we envision a farmer's market, The Yarrow Deli, adult cohousing, senior cohousing, Artisan and Gourmet Shopping.

Fernwood Urban Village The Village is located at the corner of North Park and Chambers Street in the lively, rapidly evolving district of Fernwood in Victoria, BC.
