What is Medicare? Medicare is a program that is designed to help people suffering from various health conditions. It is managed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Social security works with CMS to provide medical services to US residents for healthy lifestyle.

Eligibility People who are 65 or older can automatically register for this program. If you're younger then this and suffer from disability that makes you unable to work you can still make an application. Disabilities like permanent kidney damage acn be included in this.

Online Applications If you’re eligible at age 65, your initial enrollment period begins three months before your 65th birthday. It includes the month you turn age 65, and ends three months after your birthday. However, if you don’t enroll in Medicare Part B during your initial enrollment period, you have another chance each year to sign up during a “general enrollment period” from January 1 through March 31. Your coverage begins on July 1 of the year you enroll.

Online Applications You can use our online Medicare application if you fulfill the following conditions: Must be least 64 years and 9 months old; Do not having any Medicare coverage at the time of signup; and Are not currently receiving other Social Security benefits like retirement, disability or survivors benefits.

Medicare Part A Also known to be as original Medicare this covers: Inpatient care in the hospital Nursing facility care Inpatient care under nursing custody Hospice care Home Health care

Medicare Part B Also known to be as Medical Insurance this covers: Outpatient Care Durable medical care preventive services, ambulance services

Medicare Part C Also known to be as Medicare Advantage plan this covers: Medicare part A and Medicare part B plans

Medicare Part D Also known to be as Medicare prescription drug benefit this covers: prescription drugs through prescription drug insurance premiums.
