Utah General Education Pathway Identify courses that: transfer as equivalent credit across USHE institutions; and are generally available from most if not all institutions (list several courses per category to ensure availability). Recommend: students select one course from each GenEd category to ensure best transfer; and seek advice from a college academic advisor before selecting a substitute or second course in a single category.

Utah Exploratory Majors Pathway Identify courses that: serve as introduction to a meta-pathway; and are generally available from most if not all institutions (list several courses per category to ensure availability). Recommend: students select a course from within one of six pathways explored in middle school; and if the first CE course in that pathway engages them, try another Encourage students to take a Quantitative Literacy GenEd class associated with the pathway.
