Duties covered will include employer engagement, participant education and training activities, work experience development, transition to placement, and placement retention. Presenters also describe the role of the job developer on the YouthBuild staff and how the job developer engages externally with different partners, including employers, apprenticeship sponsors, other training programs, and post-secondary institutions, as well as internal engagement with the different staff roles in the YouthBuild program. Peer presenters from YouthBuild NorthShore and YouthBuild Honolulu share how the role of the job developer is implemented in their respective programs.
