“Bound together” HETEROZUGEO = yoked differently, unequally yoked or mismated.

2 John 2:8, “Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward.”

Rev 3:11, “I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”

Principles of Separation:

Separation can be achieved either mentally or physically Separation can be achieved either mentally or physically. If you are unable to separate from sin and evil mentally, then you must separate physically to get away from and remove the temptation.

This involves establishing the correct priorities of life through the intake and application of the Word of God, and separation from distractions to your momentum in the spiritual life.

4. You are to separate from the worldly crowd because they compromise your norms and standards. 1 Peter 4:3-4; Prov 1:10-19.
