Grading Procedure Class Rehearsal Basics/Effort/Attitude Daily Attendance Extra Rehearsal Attendance Concert Attendance Lesson Attendance Written/Skills Evaluations Your grade is based on a standard percentage (90%, 80%, etc.) and is weighted as follows: Concert/Rehearsal Attendance %50 Daily Participation/Effort/Attitude 30% Written/Voice Testing 10% Lesson Attendance 10%

Lesson Attendance Lessons are part of your grade and every effort should be made to come to each lesson. Much of the vocal technique and music-reading technique to make you a better singer/choir member will be taught during these lessons. A percentage of each 5-week and quarterly grade will be for lesson attendance. Missing/Skipping lessons will put ultimately hurt your ability for being a prepared musician in choir. Make-up lessons CAN be scheduled in advance with Mr. Suckow. Come see me if you want to schedule a make-up lesson.
