Program Overview To provide referrals for free transportation services for Access riders who have Medi-Cal Insurance and are enrolled in a Managed Care Program (MCP)

BACKGROUND State Law stipulates Passengers can receive FREE Transportation to eligible services through their Manage Care Providers (MCP) Most passengers are unaware of this benefit of free transportation they have available through their MCP State of California and County of Los Angeles have granted Access approval to make referrals to eligible passengers advising them of their right to free transportation

BACKGROUND Access will make referral calls to current Access eligible passengers with Medi-Cal insurance Passengers will be advised of benefits to utilizing their MCP for transportation Access passengers can elect to utilize their MCP provided free transportation services if they choose

Conclusion The program provides additional mobility options for passengers by advising them of their rights to receive free transportation through their Medi- Cal insurance.
