STANDARDS VOCABULARY What am I learning?

Standard Words Explicitly – clear with no confusion Inferences – conclusion based on evidence Conveyed – communicated Relevant – on topic; appropriate Episodes- events Distinct – different; to stand out

My teacher explicitly communicated the school policy on cheating. We made inferences about the character based on his actions in the story. Her crinkled faced conveyed her dislike of broccoli. Michael received a good on his essay because he included relevant text evidence to support his argument. The episodes of the story were so exciting I couldn’t stop reading the book. Our school has the distinct honor of being the first middle school in Cobb County to receive STEM certification. Words in context.
