LOOKING AT CHARACTER Character-people who posses moral strength and integrity They may show these qualities through: Difference between right and wrong Commitment to doing what is right Acceptance of universal values Demonstration of responsible behavior

Values as a Guide Values-beliefs, feelings, and ideas about what is important Types of values: Universal values-accepted by all societies Respect Tolerance Compassion Fairness Trust Honesty
