CHARM Workshop Utilized state-of-the-art Community Health and Resource Management (CHARM) mapping application developed through the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and Texas Community Watershed Partners Programs. CHARM was implemented via projectors and attendees were allowed to create different scenarios involving coastal natural hazards and future, urban growth. Beyond using the CHARM tool, presentations ranging from environmental law to local resiliency efforts were given by experts. First resiliency workshop put together by the city that utilized real-time, geospatial technology. Slideshow prepared by Michael Salisbury, msalisbury@cityofnsb.com

East Central Florida Regional Planning Council Project One of the primary goals of this project is for the city to work with the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council (ECFRPC) to confront sea level rise and engage its residents and businesses in the conversation of resiliency. During this project, the ECFRPC and the city are partnering with Stetson University, UCF, and the Florida Sea Grant. Timeline: September 4, 2018 – June 30, 2019 DATA SOURCE: VOLUSIA COUNTY, NOAA Slideshow prepared by Michael Salisbury, msalisbury@cityofnsb.com
