Is there any significant difference in the English Grammar students’ involvement in English activities based on class level? Is there any significant correlation between the English Grammar students’ involvement in English activities and their English achievement? December 3, 2019

December 3, 2019 Methodology Respondents: English Grammar students 1, 2, and Basic English Grammar students at Universitas Klabat, enrolled in second semester of 2015/2016 school year. Instrument: The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire based on Astin’s theory, adapted from Heng (2012), consisted of twenty two (22) items, and the researcher added five (5) items, therefore there were 32 items. Pilot Study: The questionnaire was tried out to 41 English Grammar students at Universitas Klabat, and it was found that out of 27 items, 9 (nine) items were invalid and 18(eighteen) items were valid. The reliability of the valid items was measured using Cronbach’s Alpha, the result was 720, it was accepted and could be used in this study. December 3, 2019
