Medical Reimbursement and coding program outcomes Being in the medical field for the past 24 years as a Patient care tech and in all medical settings. I have learned so much from my hands on experiences. Taking an online degree program is a worthwhile journey. The flexibility and support you get through the net or over the phone is priceless.

coding Practicum: Physician Coder mrcp 280 IN THIS COURSE I WAS ABLE TO ARTICULATE PHYSICIAN CODES TO ASSIGN THEM TO THE CORRECT CASES. I ALSO WAS ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENT INPATIENT VERSES OUTPATIENT SERVICE CODES

Evaluation and Management Services MRCP240 Through this class I was able to correctly assign CPT E/M codes to services, utilizing the CPT metrics, including the 1995 and 1997 CMS Documentation Guidelines. I am confident now that I can secure a job in a private physician office using the skills I learned from taking this class.

Diagnostic coding for physician services Mrcp 200 After completing this class I am able to demonstrate a professional-level understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology. I am able to demonstrate these skills in all medical facilities.

Healthcare common procedure coding system level 1 and level 2 After taking this class I was able to make decisions to Create a medical practice compliance plan based on national standards, and have a thorough understanding of coding, documentation, and reimbursement ethics. Through participating in discussion with my classmates I was able to learn other views on the healthcare as a business. This interaction has helped me to Participate professional in my communities for personal and career growth. This helped me to want to give back at my local men’s shelter and to create a senior program to keep a watch on our lonely seniors in my neighborhood.

Anatomy and physiology 1 Maat 120 Through taking this classes I was able to understand body systems and how it works. I need to know the basics and this was an awesome class to take. After completing this class I was able to understand medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology.

Workplace mathematics math 101 This class was not as difficult as I first thought before I started. In this class I learned new math skills for my career and life experiences. I was able to follow established methods of inquiry and mathematical reasoning to form conclusions and make decisions. I also was able to Participate in social, learning, and professional communities for personal and career growth. I enjoyed the feeling of knowing I got it finally. Math was my nightmare.

College Mathematics - Quantitative Reasoning math 201 Through this math class I was able to understand the better buy. Utilize appropriate current technology and resources to locate and evaluate information needed to accomplish a goal, and then communicate findings in visual, written and/or oral formats. Also was able to understand how to find the better vehicle on gas content verses miles driving. Follow established methods of inquiry and mathematical reasoning to form conclusions and make decisions.
