Contents INTRODUCTION Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) support the efforts of the government by implementing WASH projects across the country. Improving sustained access to clean water and improved sanitation Promoting healthy hygiene practices for communities.

INTRODUCTION The results and impacts of CSOs intervention started to be reported in an organized manner since 2009. The 2017 &18 report aims to provide general information on water, sanitation and hygiene projects in terms of: geographical distribution, resource outlay and number of community members served by the reporting organizations.

Contents RECOMMENDATION CSOs involvement in emerging regions (Gambella, Benishangul Gumuz, Afar & Somali) should be encouraged to ensure equity. Urban sanitation should be reconsidered and revisited. Establish new platforms at regional levels, or strengthen existing ones to engage in conflict management. Strengthen the national level WASH platforms to exchange information and compile data on contributions of organizations working on WASH.
