Application Procedure Students all apply through the online application process Mychoice@16 Students can apply to two or more colleges in order of preference – to apply for just one college is also acceptable but it’s advisable to have a backup option For colleges outside of CAP, apply directly to the college and keep school informed. Students who are planning to do an apprenticeship, apply for a full time course in chosen sector unless employer contract secured. Students are generally interviewed by all colleges if they meet the entry requirements and comply with application criteria. Please refer to the prospectuses/staff of the college/our careers team to advise on and interview policies & entry requirements. Some students decide to apply even when they are below the entry requirements – as a member of CAP we try to ensure Sixth Form Centres are not sent unrealistic applications and also we do not wish students to feel that they are under valued. Please make sure to check the predicted grades are correct before submitting the application.
