Transcendentalism Song Analysis Extra Credit Pick a song to analyze through the point of view of Transcendentalism. Print off the lyrics and staple them to this assignment. Which of the five characteristics does this song BEST exemplify? This is your theme topic. Choose four separate lyrics from the one song. Decide which aspect of Transcendentalism you think each particular lyric exemplifies. Justify your choice with a 2-3 sentence explanation. ****DO NOT justify your lyric choice by saying “It shows self-reliance” or “It is talking about nature.” These statements will NOT earn credit.
