It uses games to track their progress. I will send one each month. First Spelling Test is Friday, August 30th! What are we covering this week: Reading/Language Arts-High Frequency Words, “Big Red Lollipop”, and “Little Flap” Comprehension- visualization and key detail, Genre- Fantasy, Plural nouns, and Complete Sentences. Spelling- short a and I, Math- Expanded Form, Place Value to 100 and counting patterns, Social Studies- Wants and Needs. Sept. AR goals will be in the students agendas the end of the week. Please make sure they are reading each night. I remind them to take their library books home but I see several are still here at night- please remind them as well. Thanks!
