S.T.E.A.M CITY GROUP PROJECT CREATED BY FABIO RODRIGUEZ ARIELYS PIMENTAL HECTOR RODRIGUEZ KEVIN BARRIOS MELVIN CASTILLO RICARDO GARCIA MARIO CLAVERO DERRICK OBANDO

3d model This 3d Model of the S.T.E.A.M Project was created by Mario & Fabio, this took a period of a week to make and includes the building of imater, a park, a bridge, a moving and functioning train, a river, and very tall skyscrapers / buildings.

Creation of the 3D Model

Blue Print The blue print in this project was created by Arielys, Kevin & Derrick. They created a magnificent blueprint labeling the city, its building, and every part of it basically. It consists of each building (numbered) , the water system, the train, the park, basically allowed us to have an image of the city and allowing us to be able to build it / project it on a 3D Model

Science The Science in our S.T.E.A.M City is our park, our park consists of many animals, trees & a natural healthy environment. Our Water System/ River can also be considered the Science in our S.T.E.A.M City and overall our Biological Environment in the city

Technology THE TECHNOLOGY IN OUR PROJECT CONSISTS OF OUR TRAIN, AND OUR ELECTRIC ON AND OFF LIGHTS. THESE ALLOW ILLUMINATION FOR THE CITY AND THE TRAIN ALLOWS TRANSPORTATION AS WELL. the train is moved with a press of a button and the lights with a switch.

ENGINEERING The engineering in our project is our bridge and our roads, these roads allow for perfect movement throughout the city and the bridge allows for movement over the water and getting from part A to part B and not having to go around, for example, if you wanted to go from the skyscrapers to the park you’d just take the bridge and it would result in a faster way of getting there without having to go around. Our Train could also be a form of engineering as it allows for transportation from the IMater building to the other side of the city ( the skyscrapers/buildings.

ART The art in our project is our bridge & our river, The place and design of the pebbles and the colors and architecture of our bridge is a very beautiful form of Art, not only are they an art, the bridge allows movement for the cars and easier transportation while the river allows a source of water for the people in the city and the animals.

STANDARDS - ART Big Idea VA.912.H Historical and Global Connections Enduring understanding 3 VA.912.H.3: Connections among the arts and other disciples strengthen learning and the ability to transfer knowledge and skills to and from other fields. Big idea VA.912.F Innovation, Technology & the Future Enduring Understanding 1 VA.912.F.1: Creating, interpreting and responding in the arts stimulate the imagination and encourage innovation and creative risk-taking. Enduring Understanding 3 VA9.12.F3: The 21st-century skills necessary for success at citizens, workers and leaders in a global economy are embedded In the study of arts. Big Ida VA.912.C Critical thinking & reflection Enduring Understanding 1 VA9.12.C1 : Cognition and reflection are required to appreciate, interpret and create with artistic intent. Enduring Understanding 3 VA.912.C2 : Assessing our own and others artistic work, using critical-thinking, problem solving and decision making skills, is central to artistic growth.

Math The math in our STEAM City project Is our Roads & Electric Pole Wires, the electric poles & wires in our presentation are parallel to each other as you can see which are any two lines that do not intersect and touch at any point.

Standards - Math Unit 1 - Congruence, Proof & Constructions Lesson 1: Transformations & Congruence - 912.G-CO.1.1,912.-CO.1.2,912.G-CO.2.6 Lesson 2: Translations - 912.G-CO.1.1,912.G-CO.1.2,912.G-CO.1.4,912.G-CO.1.5 Lesson 3: Reflections – 912:G.CO.1.1,912.G-CO.1.2,912.G-CO.1.4,912 G-CO.1.5 Lesson 4: Rotations – 912.G-CO.1.1,912.G-CO.1.2, 912.G-CO.1.4, 912.G-CO.1.5 UNIT 3 - EXTENDING TO THREE DIMENSIONS lesson 17: THREE – DIMENSIONIAL FIGURES – 912.G-GMD.2.4, 912.G-MG.1.1 UNIT 4 – CONNECTING ALGEBRA AND GEOMETRY THROUGH COORDINATES LESSON 19: PARALLEL AND PERPENDICULAR LINES - 912.G-GPE.2.4, 912.G-GPE.2.5

PowerPoint This PowerPoint was created by Melvin, Hector & Ricardo, we also helped in bringing some of the materials needed for the 3D Model, we worked very hard on this PowerPoint, including all of the animations in it and including detail and information about our S.T.E.A.M City so I hope you all enjoyed our group project.
