Mrs. Deason’s Weekly News Week of September 10th LEARNING TARGETS IMPORTANT DATES Grammar-5th Conjunctions, Prepositions, Interjections 6th-Reflexive & Intensive Pronouns Reading/Writing-Theme/Central Idea & Narrative Writing Math-5th-Add & Subtract Fractions & Understanding Decimals Social Studies- 5th-Colonists & American Indians 6th-Intro to History September 14th-Progress Reports go home September 18th-Picture Day PRACTICE AT HOME Every night, students should read at least 20 minutes. 5th will have a math test this week. Students should correct and return any test that is below 70%. REMINDERS TEACHER’S NOTE Please join us on class dojo if you have not already done so. This is a great tool for communication, behavior tracking, work samples, pictures and more. Please sign your child’s weekly folder every weekend and return it on Monday.
