Year 8 - Science Our new key stage 3 curriculum has been developed to challenge and inspire our students in science. We have looked at the new GCSE content to ensure students are prepared and we have surveyed students to find out what they would like to learn about! Probability notation, scale, sample space, Venn diagrams and set notation. 4 Unit Four Pythagoras theorem, solving inequalities and representing them on a number line, using and rearranging formulae, Ratio and proportion including exchange rates 5 Unit Five Conversion of units of time, speed distance and time and real life graphs, averages and range, area and circumference of circles. 6 Unit Six Volume of 3D shapes, properties of 3D shapes, angles in polygons, bearings, back bearings, alternate and corresponding angles
