Volunteers 10 Reasons to Volunteer Volunteering makes a difference! Research consistently shows that children whose parents are involved in their schools do better. Volunteering offers tangible ways to be part of things! Sometimes life gets busy. Volunteering offers a way to help out that is easy to identify. It feels great to participate! Your child spends a lot of time at school, and it feels great to share their school related experiences with them. You’ll get to know other parents! It is wonderful to build adult friendships with your children's friends' parents. Your help is always needed! There are always ways to pitch in.

Volunteers 10 Reasons to Volunteer It is a manageable commitment! Even an hour at an event is helpful, and it is always okay to say no if you are busy. It’s fun! Even pizza nights or family reading nights spice up your week. You can tailor what you volunteer for to what your strengths are! Whether it is a personal or professional skill, there are a variety of needs. Share your ideas! Volunteering allows a common venue to share your ideas. You get to know your school and your school staff! You will better understand the needs of your children's school.
