Contents State of play intercalibration decision Intercalibration Work Programme 2008-2011 Notes for the Speaker: More information on the Directive, the implementation process and also the guidance documents are available on the internet.

Intercalibration decision Unanimously supported at the last Committee meeting Sent to European Parliament for 3 months scrutiny – deadline end August (1 month extension possible) Subject to EP’s observations, it is expected to be adopted in autumn by the Commission Notes for the Speaker: More information on the Directive, the implementation process and also the guidance documents are available on the internet.

Intercalibration Work Programme 2008-2011 Main part already endorsed in Lisbon Geographical Intercalibration Groups (GIG) specific work plans added – except Baltic Sea that meets tomorrow GIG plans to be seen as living documents The document has been sent to the European Parliament as a accompanying document to the decision Notes for the Speaker: More information on the Directive, the implementation process and also the guidance documents are available on the internet.

Intercalibration Work Programme 2008-2011 Water Directors are invited to Endorse the updated work programme Take note of the need to commit sufficient resources to the process Ask the GIGs and the ECOSTAT to regularly report the state of play of the work Notes for the Speaker: More information on the Directive, the implementation process and also the guidance documents are available on the internet.
