Dr. Dr. Mack Thomas is on staff in Ochsner's Department of Anesthesiology. He served as the Director of the Acute and Chronic Pain Program at the New Orleans Veterans Administration Hospital 1980–2001, established and served as the Medical Director for the Acute and Chronic Pain Programs at Kenner Regional Medical Center in Kenner, LA 1985–1999, and was the Chairman for the State of Louisiana Pain Management Committee responsible for developing State guidelines for pain management.
