Youth Exchange 18-30 Food Connexion! Gironde, France 27th of june to 9th of July 2019 Food to share! Food is an important aspect of our international projects because eating is a convivial and intercultural moment that brings us together. Food is often a good excuse to get to know each other, to discuss our tastes but also about our habits, the link to our cultures and sometimes our religion. Food concerns us individually through the choices we make as a consumer, but it is also a collective social issue that impacts on producers, the environment and our way of life. Better understanding of the supply chain of production (AMAP, Bio, solidarity groceries, etc.) to waste management (composting, sorting of waste, soil pollution, etc.) will make it possible to identify at what level we can act as a citizen. This Exchange of Youth is the opportunity to see more clearly among all the opportunities available to us to consume differently by discovering through meetings, media and debates, the world of food. The permaculture approach, which is much more than just a gardening technique, will help us to develop a global vision of the food issues but also the means that we can put in place in our daily life to manage its food. Today, the way we consume our cash receipt in other ways may have more impact than a ballot to change our environment. What do you think about it? It is non-formal group meetings between young Europeans. Exchanges are educational purposes and require the involvement of young people in all stages of the project. The working methods will include interactive workshops, brainstorming sessions, outdoor games, discussions, presentations, debates, energizers, etc. An interactive methodology using the tools encouraged by non formal education will be used in order to empower the active involvement of all participants.   What is a youth exchange? accommodation We are looking for accomodation in Gironde / Nouvelle-Aquitaine Financial aspects Accommodation and foods are for free.
