BUT ELISHA PRAYS.....OPEN HIS EYES!! So he can SEE -How much are we praying? -How well did you live last week? Was God trying to OPEN YOUR EYES? See only Him? Keeping Our Eyes On Jesus Hebrews 12:2

How’s Your Vision? How many love the fact their eyes can see?

Matthew 13:13-15 NIV [13] This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. [14] In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “ 'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. [15] For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. You have eyes but cannot see You have ears but cannot hear HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO HAVE EYES THAT SEE NEED 20/20 VISION.........SEE CLEARLY

Disciples Must Have Vision Proverbs 29:18 NIV “Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom's instruction.” Proverbs 29:18 KJV “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18 ESV “Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.” When you have vision you’re willing to restrain yourself! You restrain yourself....willing to put RESTRAINTS IN YOUR LIFE.... Ex. Want to be doctor? -have to get serious....study crazy hrs, study for years -Lauren School over 10 years....lot of work, sacrifice Ex. Professional athlete Ex. Professional musician......I studied for few years Be Concert Pianist -you get serious....get devoted....focus is clear -Vision affects when get up, what u eat, who ur friends are.....how you spend your time WANT TO REACH YOUR VISION...YOU RESTRAIN YOURSELF...

Every Disciple Must Have A Vision... WHAT VISION IS SO AWESOME....IT WOULD INSPIRE YOU TO RESTRAIN YOURSELF?? -So inspiring we would deny ourselves....everyday?? WHAT IS OUR VISION AS DISCIPLES OF CHRIST? To be like Christ......CHRIST IS OUR VISION To know Christ and BE LIKE HIM!

Q: What is it about Jesus that so amazes you and makes you want to be like him? -faithful. -loving. -boldness. -human. -servant Jesus is Grace and Truth

Philippians 3:7-8 NLT “I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ” Paul says all is garbage compared to knowing Jesus -Nothing compares to Knowing Christ -Nothing equips you in life like Jesus does -No job, no spouse, no person.....no house, no pleasure or vacation..... “Everything is Worthless” compared to know Christ!!! Every disciple can gain Christ!

Colossians 2:9-10 NIV “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.” Are you serious? Can you imagine what this is really saying? You have been given FULLNESS in Christ! Jesus is over ALL POWERS AND AUTHORITIES! -How we get stuck? Stuck in unbelief? Stuck in fear and anxiety? Stuck under the power of our own sins??

Ephesians 3:19-20 NLT “May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” You will be made complete All the fullness of life and power......EVEN SAYS GOD’S MIGHTY POWER AT WORK IN YOU! Is this really true?

Philippians 4:12-13 NLT [12] I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. [13] For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. No wonder Paul has so much confidence ......in God’s power

2 Peter 1:3 NLT [3] By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
