What is the History of your name? Day 1 AP World and World History

Write 1 paragraph on the following: Who chose to give you your name? How was it decided? Were there traditions associated with giving you that name? What were they? Describe your experiences with your name. Liann Joy McCreery My parents gave me my name and they decided that they like the sound of it. I wasn’t named after anyone. My father’s mom was heard to say: “That’s not a biblical name” –This tells you a lot right there! McCreery means-son of the heart King in ancient Scotland. And I am not related to American Idol winner Scotty McCreery.
