Lead Pastor for Mission Implementation Today’s Speaker: dave Young Lead Pastor for Mission Implementation

Dave Young is the Lead Pastor for Mission Implementation at MBC Dave Young is the Lead Pastor for Mission Implementation at MBC. He is currently leading the effort to implement the MBC 2020 vision throughout the whole church and beyond. He began the Mission Implementation role in January 2019. Dave grew up in Fairfax Station, VA nearly his whole life. He has been at MBC for 20 years, dating back to when MBC was at Balls Hill Road. Before assuming his current position, Dave served as the Associate Pastor at the Montgomery County Campus under Pastor Mike Kelsey. Dave has worked in business management, typically medium sized software companies. His passion is making disciples and pastoring churches.

Hebrews 13:17 Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.
