Technical Advances The most important developments was the wheel. The plow increased farm production. The clock used falling water to measure time. What other inventions can you name?

Math and Sciences A math system based on the number 60 was developed. Sumerians calculated the areas of rectangles and triangles. They made advances in medicine as well as science.
