Visualizing Sea Level Rise from Temperature Record Colin Domnauer

Methods Goal- knowing dT, calculate dV of ocean, display visually Vary ocean height incrementally until this volume is obtained (bisection method) Calculate land area knowing pixel area on sphere and elevation Errors- Sea level rise from just thermal expansion is only about 20 % (no melting ice) Attempt to compensate delta h multiplied by 5 Low resolution due to number of pixels  limited accuracy
