4 –NO CELL PHONES WITHOUT TEACHER APPROVAL! Put away or turn off your cell phone before entering class You may leave your phone at the charging station in the back of the room. *Bring your own charger.

5 –Got a question/answer? Raise your hand to ask or answer a question.

6 –Attention!! When I want your attention, I will call out, “Eyes on me!” –You respond, “Yes Ma’am!”

7 –Pencil Sharpening and Trash Sharpen your pencil before class or at appropriate times Trash Trash will be thrown away when your are dismissed from class. Keep it at your desk until you are dismissed.

8 –You lose valuable teaching time when you leave the class 8 –You lose valuable teaching time when you leave the class. Use the bathroom and get drinks during breaks. You may not use the restroom or get a drink the first or last 10 minutes of class.

9 –Food and drink are not permitted in the classroom. This includes gum Infractions will have consequences You may have bottled water

10 –Walking As A Class Students are expected to walk in a straight line when traveling from one location to another. There will be NO TALKING in line. Other students are still in class. All class rules apply out of the classroom.

11b- During a LOCKDOWN Remain quiet during lockdown! Any students out of the room, report to the nearest classroom (DO NOT TRY AND RETURN TO OUR CLASS UNLESS YOU ARE RIGHT NEXT TO THE DOOR) Sweep students/Door Locked/Window Covered Blinds shut. NO TALKING If your in the bathroom, STAY THERE AND WAIT FOR AN ADULT TO COME Remain quiet during lockdown!

12 –Turning in completed work. No name ….. No grade (0) There are two ways to turn in work Pass it to the designated leader of your row or group and that person will turn the work into the back File box or Place it in the back file box before you leave DO NOT HAND YOUR WORK TO ME –EVER!

Talk within your group and discuss one or two rules that might cause you problems. Write them on a post it note and have one member place them in the designated bin
